1969 AVS Shadow "Slimline"
The AVS Shadow was built to compete in the Canadian-American Challenge Cup (CAN-AM) series, which, having the designation of Group 7, has since become legendary in its adherence to Group's specifications and regulations - of which there were extremely few. The Shadow was designed with the idea that a car which presented the lowest possible frontal-profile, thereby slipping through the air with the least resistance, would be ideal.
It turned out anything but that...
A marvelously weird looking race-car from Ettore Bugatti
